Yes, it does do that for older apps, but the apps I have come to need 
(Agendus, pssh/tussh, pfuel, verichat, etc.) pretty much all can use the 
extended screen.  And having that real estate means *I* can use it, too for 
my own apps.

My BT experience has been less than stellar, but not too bad.  Granted, I 
haven't tried BT audio with the TX, but I know that AudioGateway will give 
the Palm A2DP, and I'm sure some hacking will get me SCO audio for input.

The hacking part though... that's what really shouldn't be required.

Good luck with that.  (W)CDMA locks you in, and the next-gen GSM is trying to 
do that too.  The carriers can't stand that you can take a phone to someone 
else.

Lenovo direct, with Visa perks (work laptop, I haven't got that kind of 
money) -- Alina picked hers up from Future Shop for about $1200 or $1600 I 
think (can't remember) -- she wanted the 1 year interest free.
