[kwlug disc.] Donation to Software in the Public Interest

Everyone,

We made a donation of $46.00 to Software in the Public Interest.

Next month we shall be FLOSS funding the Public Patent Foundation, as
nominated by Richard Weait. The page for the nomination is here
http://www.kwlug.org/node/491 if anyone would like to read Richards
description/justification or add additional comments.

There is one more outstanding nominee, so we are again looking for some
more suggestions about projects or organizations that need and deserve
our financial support. You can make a nomination by going to
http://www.kwlug.org/node/add/nominee, by send an email to the cabal(Paul,
Adam or myself), or by making a suggestion at the beginning of the next
meeting when we do the FLOSS Fund presentation.
