I've got a Zaurus SL-C1000 and it's been a mixed experience.

All the distributions are semi-finished and have lots of rough edges.
I've had a hard time coming close to compiling software myself,
although it looks like lots of other people are doing it.

If I recommend it, then I'd recommend an SL-C3100 or SL-C3200 for the
internal hard drive because it solves _so_ many issues.
