I concur but I want to caution others that SDHC memory cards
will only work on the newest devices. "HC" means high-capacity
which means that it is incompatible with all but the newest devices.
Even memory card readers from a year ago don't work.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Digital#SDHC for details.
Also, $170 for 16GB (at ncix.com) is a bit pricey
... more than double the $58 bottom-end for 8GB.
But, Canada Computers' 16GB SDHC is listed at $400.
In this case, is best to wait a bit for the deflation to kick in.
I imagine that the 32GB (already announced for 2008)
will likely dip to $150 by the end of 2008 ... so I don't want
to invest quite that much in memory. I have an elastic band
holding together 4-5 1G memory-cards (because that's the limit
on some of my older devices) ... and the elastic band solution
is only around 2cents.
