Also check out a program called motion. It takes pictures off the webcam 
and will put them in a directory every N seconds. If there is movement 
detected, it takes a video. 

The directory can be in public_html

I expect the problem you will have is that most webcam drivers can't 
handle more then one. The bus speed of the USB and the drivers 
themselves are the limitations.  You may end up having to buy extra 
computers to handle 6 cameras.
