[kwlug disc.] Interesting "game" if you have a better video card

I'd heard about this game: sounds like an offspring between The Sims
and World of Warcraft.
It does seem to be generating a lot of buzz. Do you find it that
great? I never would have suspected that they would OS their client,
not to mention release them for both Mac and Linux!

This reminds me actually, I'm also on the Beowulf.org mailing list,
and someone brought up this game recently. There was a short
hypothetical discussion about how they could possibly host this game
on a cluster in order to more efficiently spread the load on their
servers (the poster had also linked to a news article about how the
game's developers were supposedly trying to deal with above average
load when a large number of players would be in a single region of the
"world"). Of course it was pure speculation, since they couldn't be
sure how the game servers are setup right now anyway.
