It looks nice and simple.  Except for the "not actually working" part.

I can record audio but I can maybe hear a little pop of audio as it
zips by way too fast.

I went hunting for docs but the faq is dead.

I vaguely remember people talking about needing to fiddle with frame
rates and such.

I then hunted around and bumped into Istanbul, but no dice with that
one.  After slogging through a huge list of requirements, one of them
isn't being seen by configure.  =(
