Maybe what we both are saying is quite close.

My point was "dont' take it agains the distros that
don't include formats that require a license. Take it
agains the owners of the formats which make them
difficult (legaly) to use. 

Your point about taking it further and blaming the
patent system is right on. I hadn't think about it but
it still fits with the spirit of my original message.

You may have missinterpreted my post. (or tried to
interpret it?). I suffer from a disability where I
cannot read between the lines so I never know when
people will read something between the lines of what I
write. I re-read my message and I still don't know how
you interpreted it that way :)

I try to say what I mean, and mean what I say. That's
brought me grief (specially with women).
