Are you ever harsh.  I asked why you thought top posting was bad, and 
you come back with, people who defend top posting (me) are lazy, should 
have realized it by now, shouldn't be posting to a mailing list, and top 
posting is bad because everyone says so.

I suppose you like emacs over vi too.

I like having the excess verbiage available in replies to emails. 
Sometimes it's worthwhile being able to go back through to see points 
that have been made and missed. That doesn't mean I want to wade through 
it everytime I see a message. People who insist on deleting content are 
also deleting context.  (for example look at the first line of your text :).

It's not like the bandwidth for the extra text is significant, or that 
the disk requirement to hold that extra text is too great. It's that 
bottom posters have their way of doing things, and all other ways must 
be wrong, incorrect, and stupid.

I posted this at the bottom so you could feel free to reply. I didn't 
want you to feel censored :0
