I've never heard of Dick Gaughan, but if a Scot says it, it must be

In looking over some newsgroups that I'm subscribe to, it looks like the
majority of people do in fact bottom post.

Ok, you've convinced me. I will attempt to bottom post from now on. How
is posting within paragraphs as I have done above viewed?
Oh and Robert if you are still following this conversation, thanks for
your help, your patch suggestion got me past that problem.
