That's exactly how it happened with me... Palm then Cell, then Palm+Cell and
Cell (Treo and TX).

That's almost exactly how I use these things as well. Palm had it right from
the beginning, but they've screwed up practically everything they had going
for them that it's sad to say that my next device will likely not be Palm.

:-) See, technology *is* useful. I have always driven my family crazy how I
will let the damn phone ring if I'm relaxing or eating or having a
conversation already instead of getting up to answer it. Technology's there
to serve *me*, dammit, not the other way around!
If I could figure it out I would have the phone determine whether I'm willing
to answer it or not and simply not ring if I'm not going to answer it anyway.
