Thus my interest in VoIP /Asterisk / etc.
During designated hours, if appropriate, forward call to cell.
Appropriate = something like
- designated phone numbers ignored. Completely. "It's time for your
next tune up on your 7 year old truck now ... please call and book and
appointment."
- during mealtimes, straight to voice mail, text phone as to who
called, if on permitted list.
- if from 800-type number and not on permit list, forward to special
mailbox "The number you have dialled has chosen not to accept your
marketing phone spam. If you feel this designation is in error, please
have a human call from a real phone number that displays the name of
your company. Have a good day!"
