Last week, at the LUG, somebody asked about screensavers. Specifically, they wawnted to know what the screensaver was (from a previous meeting) that looked like "molecules." On my Ubuntu system, there is a setting in >> Sytem >> Preferences >> Screensavers, called "molecules" that looks like it might fit the bill.
