[kwlug disc.] USB2 drive bays for 4-6 drives?

I realize this is a long shot, but does anyone have any leads on USB2 drive 
bays for *multiple* PATA dirves?  There's a catch -- I must be able to get 
SMART drive information out of it.

I've got a number of single-drive bays, and they work great, but no SMART info 
gets through them.

Anyone seen or used anything to this extent?
