Hello!
I'm Kyle Spaans, a student from the University of Waterloo.
I've got an older Pentium-I Toshiba laptop. It's got 64MB of RAM, and
the hard drive is a few gigabytes (don't quote me on that one).
The only real downside is that the battery does not work, I've
recycled it already. So you have to plug this thing in to use it. But
other than that it seems to be in perfect condition, I've been
running/testing various linux distros on it for over almost a year
now.
And because I got it for free, I'd be willing to part with it for
free. Package deal: laptop, power cord, carry bag.
Hopefully it's what your acquaintance is looking for!
