i have a make-work project for someone's who's interested in digging
into fedora 7 and documenting how to do, well, everything with it.
using one of my training laptops (gateway MX7120), i'd like someone
to start from a fresh install and, step-by-step, document how to
configure it to do everything i can think of (which i will have a list
for).
this will include things like setting up wireless, configuring for
full audio and video ... the list goes on and on. i'll start with a
few simple things and the list will just grow from there.
you'll get one of the laptops, we'll do the initial install and
record the significant install decisions, then you'll be able to take
the laptop and keep working, and report back on a regular basis. i
simply have a bit too much on my TO DO list to do this myself, so i'm
happy to farm this out. we can negotiate the compensation.
i'm fairly sure i'll be at the next LUG meeting, so we can chat
there, but send me email if you think you might be interested.
