[kwlug disc.] VMware job openings in Burlington

Yeah.

<sigh>

The postings have been there for some time. They're hurting for
qualified people, and / or expanding. My impression is that VMware is
growing significantly - they're getting the word out about the
'wonders of virtualization.' Especially with their product line face
lift, e.g. Server, Player, P2V, er, Converter, being free, ACE being
leaned on, etc. Growing in the sense that they've created a
self-fulfilling prophecy - marketing has generated the orders, but
there aren't enough technical people / vars / 3rd parties to satisfy
the orders - so have to hire their own.

Unfortunately, everything has always been based out of Burlington. <sigh>

Probably one of the better commutes around, but still a not
insignificant commute.

Drats!

I've no doubt the pay would be quite good. And you wouldn't be running
out of work any time soon.
