Just on the mini-ITX issue, I've been considering getting one of those
systems for myself for a while now...

Why do you have to get a $300 case? On www.minipc.ca, a provider of
many things mini-ITX, located in Shanty Bay [near Barrie, ON], they
many kinds of cases for far less than $300.

Sure they aren't fancy looking like those HomeTheatre style cases, but
they are still nice and small.

Or is there some other requirement that I'm missing here?
