Well my 8-track has a cassette adapter. ;-) Linux-Gremlin, Rockin'

I'd like to see a presentation on a successful car-computer setup.
This relates to Rob's post in that I'd like to see how the computer
sound sources collaborate with the car sources and amps.
For example:
Do you want to hear a POST-beep (or POST beep error codes when the car
computer starts? If you do, do you want it amplified and run through
your 16" subs?
You've got an in-dash CD player and a computer with an optical drive.
How do you play the computer Cd through the car stereo? Computer
based MP3s?
Does your Cell phone handsfree kit mute the car stereo?
When you are playing Revolution OS on the back-seat plasma monitors
how do you set the volume so that the dialogue can be heard, but so
you can hear Kismet alerts and GPS Drive turn instructions without
distracting your passengers?
Anybody with car-computer experience care to collaborate on this
project? Anybody (else) interested in seeing the presentation if the
project ever comes together?
