FM Modulators have been around for many years, usually used to add-on cd
changers to stock systems with no modifications to the system.

 

Yes, they are still available as a small add-on to allow MP3 players to
"plug-in" to a stock system.

Hello

I think that you can purchase a small FM transmitter that plugs into your
player enabling it to send a signal to your car stereo system for playback.

I have heard of them, never tried any.
