as i understand it, the music format from the player doesn't make any
difference if it's going in thru AUX INPUT -- the list of supported
formats refers solely to types of encoding used on the CD you're
trying to play, so even the low-end players would handle the karma.

and USB would be nice but, at that point, the price jumps from $99 to
about $160.  oh, well ... i'm driving south next month, i can wait
that long.  of course, by then, the freakin' canadian dollar may be at
par. :-P
