ssh and pine here as well and I've noticed a decrease in lag, but hey I'm 
old everything seems fast to me ;)

I've always thought it would be great learning tool. Cheap almost wide 
open shell access on a system you don't have to maintain.

Would be nice if we could pool our knowledge of how to do things on sdf. I 
have been surprised many times by the "they just let you do that 
factor?!", but they sure don't like to hold your hand.

But isn't it refreshing when they ask you to vote on how much new service 
levels or membership packages should cost?
