[kwlug disc.] Canadian equivalent to sdf.lonestar.org?

Given the recent discussion regarding sdf ...

Is there a Canadian equivalent to it out there?

It has occurred to me that there may be disadvantages to having
everything transit U.S. 'airspace'. Not that I'm planning anything
illegal, but particularly since 9/11, things get 'stranger and
stranger.' Probably 'cause I don't live there, so am not immersed in
everything 'going on,' to understand it.

Bear in mind, at its core, SDF is an (essentially) free NetBSD
account. (Not that the NetBSD is important, but since they gave up on
Linux, I suppose it should be some Un*x variant.)

Not that we don't all transit the U.S. when we communicate with the
west coast anyways. IIRC, all circuits going thataway go via Chicago.
