I've seen the name 1and1 around, but I don't recall if it was in a
positive or negative light. If you're looking for hosting there's as
many recommendations as there are discussion list recipients :). I use
prioritycolo.com; I've actually got rack space with them but they do
individual hosting plans as well. They do have a good name, I've been
pretty happy with the service, and they're located at 151 Front street
in Toronto so their connectivity is about as huge as you can get
(everybody who's anybody in Canada is in that building).
