[kwlug disc.] need some opinions on a misbehaving wireless network

i thought it was unlikely as well, but i was running out of ideas.
and i did try using a known good DNS server and that didn't solve the
problem, but i'm taking in a known good router just for the heck of
it, and i'll remove all other systems from the network and test it
with only mine attached.
