I've tried this. (Actually, I'm too lazy to really do any such, it just
happens to be the Thunderbird default). Reality check comes pretty
fast. If people outside of technical mailing lists start receiving
bottom posted replies, *they* complain, and then the senders complain to
*me* that their mail program is always defaulting to bottom and they
have to scroll back up to type replies! I assure you, telling the suits
that bottom posted replies is the proper way to format e-mails because
it makes the conversation flow logically gets you absofarkinglutely nowhere.
