I like to decide whether to sign my emails on a case-by-case basis.  I usually 
decide based on whether the email is more like part of a conversation (like 
this one) or if it is more like a letter.  Generally if I include an opening 
like "Hi Joe,"  then I will also include a 'sign-off' such as "Sincerely, 
Adam".  Perhaps this is old-fashioned of me, but I guess that's the way I 
roll.
