I got the same impression.  I see no reason to think that it's open source.

I chatted a bit with the .. filmmaker? .. via email on unrelated stuff
and he seems like a sharp enough guy.  If it's real - nomatter what
it's for - it'll make it big.  Even if it's a sort of vapourware
video-whitepaper, it's a good one.
