Update!

Flashed my DI-524 to a DI-624 - apparently they use the same hardware - and
updated it with the latest firmware for the 624.. gives me slightly more
options and better speed.  Replaced one of the wireless usb adapters to a
new model that supports WPA2 and it is all working now.  The one cordless
phone we have kills the connection so I'll have to play with that some.  And
we have 4 other wireless AP's I can see.. so no wonder the trouble.  I also
had another wireless phone that I unplugged until I can get it all working
seamlessly.
