Is there no such group / organization / whatever out there for this
now? i.e. If you have to set it up / are looking for numbers, I would
guess not. (If there are such groups, what might they be?)

Assuming you have to organize the 'members' to get a sense of interest
level and geographic dispersion, does it make any sense to first form
a mailing list / Google | yahoo group or something? Certainly to get a
sense of geography? (It may turn out that some other city makes more
sense?)

I can see where you can do a lot over the web, links, code tidbits,
share ideas, etc., but I can also see where getting together so
everyone can see that big 'diagram' you're collectively discussing
would be much more 'efficient.'

I would guess from your past posts that:
- there is no such group, but you have a number of 'close' e-mail
friends with whom you discuss these issues, and you're trying to
'organize' them?
- doing what you do in this area has involved a lot of hard work,
trial and error, and lots and lots of tidbits and nuggets of
information you have corralled from talking to a LOT of people. As
opposed to some magic web site "12 steps to make it rich from the web!"
- it would be absolutely fascinating to be a fly on the wall listening in.

No?
