Hi All,

We have five presentation suggestions on the web site at
http://kwlug.org/suggestions/

Members are encouraged to indicate any preference among the topics by
commenting there or here.  This thread is also a great place to suggest
folks outside the LUG that you would like to have present to us.  We've
had wonderful, informative presentations from organizations like IBM,
Novell, EFF and special guests from neighbouring LUGs in addition to our
own members so speak up.  Anybody I should pursue for us?
(Incidentally, I checked.  The Royal Canadian Mint will come and talk to
but they don't leave "samples."  So forget it.)  

You can volunteer to present (or suggest a topic) by logging in at
kwlug.org and choosing Create content >> Presentation topic (from the
left-hand menu) and describing the topic.  There are guidelines at the
top of the editing page.  You can add a logo or other appropriate image
to the suggestion.  

Check the topic suggestion or request box.  

Check the Author is volunteer presenter box if you are willing to
present the topic.  

Pressing the submit button adds your topic suggestion to the suggestion
list.  

So speak up!  Let me know what topics you want to see / hear more about.
Or I'll just end up presenting whatever I want to talk about.
