Bob announced his new course on CambridgeLUG.
[Bob's announcement]
The 07 Spring edition of my iCanProgram: Introduction to Linux
Programming online course is now in session.
This course is aimed at programming novices, so you don't need to
bring any prior programming experience. This course doesn't teach any
particular programming language (ie. all the syntax you need is fully
explained in the lesson material). If you want to expand upon this
lesson material a good C or Tcl/Tk reference book is handy.
This course is run much like an open source project. There is a
website where the material is posted and a mailing list for
interstudent interactions.
To get subscribed to that mailing you need to send a completely
blank email (no content, no subject) to:
ican44ux-subscribe at yahoogroups.com
The main course webpage can be found at:
http://www.icanprogram.com/44ux/main.html
Have fun.

PS.
There is loads of space for more students in this type of format. So
even if you don't think that learning a little about Linux programming
is for you pass this info on to your friends.
