I'm interested in "show and tell" presentations/chats.
The "Who's Who at KWLUG" entry cannot be commented but
basically I just want to say that I think it's a great
idea to have "mini-presentations" of about 5-10
minutes where somebody tells how (s)he's using Linux
on the job, favourite programs/setups etc.

I'm a sucker for grandpa's little battle stories and
anecdotes from real life. I think I get more from
those talks than from the pure technical.

I volunteer for one of this short talks, it could be
about "Linux web hosting" (common problems I see and
typical troubleshooting techniques etc).

If there are several small presentations ready for one
night then if one of the presenters cannot attend it's
not such a big problem. For instance I don't know
until the same day or the day before if I have to be
doing some late work for a customer that will prevent
me for going to the meeting (like in the last n
times).
