Hi Rick

I am sure that you can get a live CD from a KW native in the lug. I live in Guelph so it is a bit of a drive to get / give a CD.

IF you really want the KDE desktop, then you should use Edgy until the Fiesty Kubuntu is ready.

OR You can install Fiesty gnome and then take your computer to someplace with High speed to do the KDE install. You will then be able to boot either desktop.

I am still on Edgy I have not installed Fiesty yet.

Is it easy to just install Ubuntu and, then, install a few packages
to get KDE-operation?

Also, is there any opinion on how stable 7.04 FeistyFawn is right now?
I'm comfortable with running Debian testing packages
so I'm guessing that FeistyFawn is pretty usable at this point.
Or should I still be sticking with 6.10 EdgyEft for now?

Also, I get the sense that Ubuntu has been a live-CD/DVD ever since EdgyEft.
Is this assumption true on the FeistyFawn iso or on the Kubuntu isos?
