i would think it's not really worth keeping copies of anything more
than one major release back, not because they have no intrinsic value,
but because anything that's been around that long should have been
easily accessible through other means by a long time.  if the LUG is
going to have a distro library, it might as well (gently but firmly)
encourage users to install relatively recent releases.
