[kwlug disc.] dell is selling linux pre-installed

Wow.  Linux on the desktop by a major supplier. My devotion to Dell is 
finally paying off.  Now if they only offered a mandriva install :).

As they're touting it as cheaper than windows vista, and given the vista 
bad press, this could actually be the first real breakthrough to the 
consumer market.  Or, it could just contribute to further pirating of 
Windows OS's.  There'll be lots of folks buying it because they're 
cheaper then installing their old copy of XP.
