This is interesting; I'd like to compare some of the more friendly distros 
against Slack, in realtime.  I've personally installed Kubuntu, Debian, SuSE 
and LFS in recent memory, but it's an unfair comparison, as I am *not* really 
familiar with any of these, and get quickly frustrated.

Add to that S1/S3 sleep, I think this is a really neat idea.  With all these 
systems side-by-side it makes for easy comparisons.

I can post back later tomorrow, as I'm not 100% sure I can make it this 
Monday.  I wanted to make sure I wrote to show my support for this idea, 
though.
