Just a heads up, in case it's not thought of ...
WorkingCentre has no wi-fi of its own. And, I suspect, for all I know,
copper ethernet may be better supported off the distro, possibly
needing internet access to get down / working wi-fi packages.
So ... lots of ethernet cable and a switch may be needed to connect
many laptops. And either a wi-fi router/gateway or 1 laptop held back
and pre-configured as such. Testing wi-fi without the gateway may be
problematic. And you may need to be careful of DHCP conflicts. (i.e.
Router and workingcentre both handing them out.)
If the laptops are on separate tables, rather than clustered around 1
big one (does the working centre have a big enough table for X laptops?)
And ... if battery power won't be sufficient, extra power cables and bars?

To be clear - this paragraph almost suggests people taking laptops
away with them for a few days. Which is probably not what you intended.
Assuming not ... the evening, at least at the working centre itself,
appears to have a hard deadline of 9:00 PM.
So, at least, controlled enthusiasm will be necessary.
