 	I am no graphing pro, but I figured out a hacky way to do it on my 
ancient version[0] of OOo:

 	- Make the graph in Calc
 	- Click on the graph to highlight it and then copy it
 	- Open up a new Drawing
 	- Paste the graph to the drawing
 	- File->Export . If you have the "Selection" tickybox ticked, it 
seems to export only the chart.
