Hi,

Check the dates that I've just added to the web site http://kwlug.org/
and make sure that I've got the holiday schedule correct.

Also, what a surprise, we need topics and presenters. Now, don't all
rush at once, there is a spot for everybody. Form double line to the
left, alphabetically by height.

Have you ever said to yourself, "Self. I would present, but I don't
know what I would talk about that is interesting." We've got help for
that. Consider our list of suggested / requested topics.

Have you ever said to yourself, "Self. I'd love to see a presentation
on Topic XYZ. Why doesn't somebody offer to present it?" Perhaps
because nobody has asked us to present it. Suggest a presentation topic
here. (kwlug.org web registration required)

The keen-eyed among you will have noticed that when suggesting a topic
using the form above, you can also volunteer to present it yourself.
Fortunately all we need is presentation topics. We don't need
presenters at all. The topics can be magically transported from
imagination to the projector screen, propelled only by the hopes and
dreams of Unicorns and magic ponies.

No, wait, that isn't true. We also need people to volunteer to prepare
each topic and deliver the presentation. Be inspired by the recent
presentations by Raul, Andrew, Lori, John, Brent and Chris to mention
only the last six months. Each of our colleagues has put time into
preparing presentation topics for us to enjoy at our meetings. They
have shown us that successful, fun and informative KWLUG presentations
can take many forms and be presented in distinct and varied ways. Take
a chance. Prepare a topic. Share it with the group.

Don't be tempted to say to yourself, "Self. Okay. I'm going to prepare
a topic AND THEN I'll tell the group that I'm ready to present..."
Firstly, even if we booked your offer today, the first spot available is
June, so you have TWO WHOLE MONTHS to prepare. You can do this in under
two months. Secondly, as John has told us, "Nothing will get you
focused on completing the preparation like having a deadline!" So do
it. Make an offer today to present in the future.
