Actually, I think I'm the one who's confused: I was reading 'comes 
with a PCMCIA card' as 'has a PCMCIA slot.' Oops.

So, being a wireless router (but not in this context), and having a 
PCMCIA slot to take a wi-fi card, is sort of (uselessly) redundant.
