Actually, there are NoMachine clients and servers, as well as FreeNX 
clients and servers.  The NoMachine software is not FLOSS, but the 
underpinning libraries are available as FLOSS.  I think the NoMachine 
software has more features, particularly in terms of managing sessions 
and other admin tasks.

I haven't looked at it too closely, but it appears that all of the 
libraries used by the NoMachine software are available as FLOSS, so 
presumably FreeNX could be as fully featured as the NoMachine software 
given enough development resources.
