[kwlug disc.] entry-level, linux-friendly scanner available locally?

Rob, you forgot all about me!!! LOL! The Working Centre's Computer Recycling
has about 30 scanners. We were asking for a $10 donation for a scanner. I'll
test a few and get back to you. I know quite a few of the HP ScanJet
scanners play nicely with xsane/sane. I use one at home.
