[kwlug disc.] acanac or other phone service

I've got a home naked dsl line with acanac and they've been great.  I
switched over because Rogers was horrible and I couldn't rely on it for
internet let alone my voip line ( vonage ).  I've never had to call acanac,
but I've gone on their forums a couple of times.  The owner often posts and
responds to support issues.  I had no issues with speed until Bell started
throttling.  Oh, and they were pretty cheap.

I think they or Bell are having issues adding lines in Waterloo.  I have a
friend trying to add a naked dsl line, and he's been put on a waiting list
until they can get more.  Business might be different though, so I'd give
them a call.
