I am typing this now on  my eee so funny you should ask.

I would get the 4gig one as it comes with a webcam.

Staples has them some but while you are there you may want to look at the offering from acer. I never thought that I would see the day that Staples would have any computer preloaded with Linux. wonders never cease.

I purchased ours from Circuit City but none of the stores here in 
Guelph have them in stock, they are brought in on request.

they are great little computers.

I know there was a discussion recently on these asus eee micro laptops. 
I'm kinda thinking of buying one just to surf, check email and post to 
blogs. Something I can sit on the couch with after the kids go to bed 
and do the stuff I can't get to during the day.  Right now I use a 
desktop in the home office, but that's kind of anti-social with the family.

Was there a final consensus as to where to buy these things?  Locally or 
online?  And is there a model number that's better?  I don't think I 
need much more than a few gigs.
