I thought this *had* happened in the U.S., that customers were suing their
web hosting companies for redirecting traffic to an advertising page while
said customers were setting up their sites. This seems a magnitude worse,
redirecting traffic on account of bad DNS (service). I would imagine that if
Rogers can't get their act together someone is going to slashdot them with
bad press. Seems strange it hasn't happened already.
