Have the best of both. Configure your intranet DNS to use openDNS by
configuring "forwarders" in the "options{}" section.

If you happen to be saddled by Microsoft DNS there are other OpenDNS docs
on configuring that.
If you configure forwarders, the DNS server will go to them for answers
instead of trying the root zones.
I think this was originally designed so that large networks could appoint
a few name servers to hold a rich cache of results thereby reducing the
overall queries going through an internet connection.-------------- next part --------------
