[kwlug disc.] Linux on the PS3

I've been playing around with Linux on the PS3, and I've run into some
trouble I'm wondering if someone could help me out with.

Essentially, kboot doesn't like me.  I've installed Gentoo, and when the
kboot prompt comes up, it won't boot any further.  If I type in any of the
labels I've created -- 'gentoo' to boot Linux, 'ps3' to boot the game OS --
it just tells me it can't find that command.  However, if I type in the full
contents of, say, the 'gentoo' label, Gentoo boots up without issue.

Has anyone run into this?
